This is a contest.
Sometime this coming saturday (10-07-2006) this contest will end.
To enter this contest leave me in the comments section the funniest IM that you claim Mark Foley sent to you.
Winner gets a Wide Awakes Radio T-Shirt.
We’ll be recapping the whole Foley mess, talking shit about a certain female conservative blogger that apparently believes her exrcement has attained the heady floral aroma of a costly Valentines Gift and recaping some of todays biggest headlines. (As if ANYTHING beyond FoleyGate has even approached the attention of the MSM).

CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE MESSAGES WERE PAGE PRANK GONE AWRY
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.
The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the matter.
The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.

(c)DRUDGE REPORT 2006
So I was somewhat right. My contention was that Edmund was using this material for a sinister reason. But rather than for the reason I thought, he was intending on this to be some sort of college prank. A prank that may have serious implications on the leadership of this nation. A prank which might cost the party which he claims to be loyal to seats in the House of Representatives.
Now what would have happened if Wild Bill hadn’t gone forward with this story? I think some apologies are in order from all those who have threatened Bill and his family.
So in a sense, the real issue is still only the former Congressman and his lust for young boys. Which with his departure has been dealt with.
But Democrats have moved forward with the stupidity that Speaker Hastert should resign. Duh. That just exasperates the situation and further shows their desire to make this a political football. For instance… Chairman Dean…
On calls for Speaker Dennis Hastert to resign
I’m not going to say somebody should resign or something like that. But I will say this: [Rep.] Ray LaHood [an Illinois Republican] says they should get rid of the page program. They should not get rid of the page program. They should get rid of the people who run the page program, and that’s the Republican leadership. In the past, when things like this happened, they acted in unison in a bipartisan way to deal with it. Here they keep [Rep.] Dale Kildee [a Michigan Democrat] in the dark; they never even told the Democrats who were supervising the page program about this. They didn’t let our side of the aisle know. Why? Because, they considered this a political problem. This is not a political problem. This is a human problem, and it should have been dealt with a year ago.
Any surprise?
