On March 17th, the socialistic, anti-war crowd (Cindy Sheehag, Hanoi Jane - now known as Jihad Jane - and their sorry ilk) will once again protest the war and our military. For drama’s sake, they plan to congregate at the Vietnam Wall and march on the Pentagon. There have been gleeful threats of splashing red paint on the Vietnam Wall and other War Memorials. We cannot allow such a thing to happen. Vietnam vets are beyond outraged and are planning a counter-protest to protect the hallowed ground from such traitors. The event is called The Gathering Of Eagles. Read that article for more info and check out the Eagle’s Nest forum.
Typically, liberal moonbats have a much better success rate at their marches and protests because, after all, they are unemployed and have nothing better to do with their miserable lives. Thus, true patriots have to suffer their outrages such as last weekend in D.C. when anarchists spray painted the U.S. Capitol steps and protesters spit upon and threatened our Iraqi vets, not to mention liberals’ penchant for random acts of desecration of our flag.
I, for one, am sick and tired of fuming at a distance about these traitors. Kit and I have decided to go and put our bodies where our hearts are - and join veteran-Americans on guard around the sacred memorials of our nation and around our beloved veterans. We’re done watching from far away while anti-Americans make a mockery of everything we hold sacred.

Kit is under strict ROEs from The Marine, and has promised to raise my bail money if I go rogue without warning - which is quite possible with this Redhead, as you well know. We still plan to visit our friends at Walter Reed on Friday night - and are planning something fun for those wounded vets (at their request). The Gathering has exploded in size and strength and I think the veterans were taken by surprise with how big this whole thing has gotten. I’m proud to say that we’ve had a little something to do with that.

Gathering of Eagles
Congressman John Culberson (R-TX) announced today in Houston, TX that DHS-Inspector General Richard Skinner admitted that his deputy inspectors Lisa Redman and James Taylor as well as DHS congressional liaison Tamara Faulkner LIED to members of Congress about statements that are foundational to the prosecution’s case against Border Patrol agents Compean and Ramos.
The DHS inspectors claimed that the Border Patrol agents were “rogue cops” and that they had very damning sworn statements to that effect:
1. They knew that he was unarmed.
2. They knew that he was not a threat to them.
3. That they had said that morning that they were going to “go out and shoot them some Mexicans.”
Furthermore, the DHS officials promised Congress that they would produce those sworn statements for Congressional review. That was four and a half months ago. Since then, DHS has stalled and obfuscated every time the Congressional members wrote letters or made phone calls to collect those statements from DHS. All three of those statements have now been proven as false.
DHS-IG Skinner admitted yesterday that his deputies lied to Congress and that those sworn statements do not exist and that Congress had been “misled”. Culberson has concluded that DHS deliberately lied to Congress and gave them false information in order to “throw them off the scent” of their investigation into the Border Patrol case. He said this is indicative of a large-scale cover-up inside of DHS, the Department of Justice, and the entire prosecution against Compean and Ramos. He and other Congressman will be announcing today their demand for a full investigation into the DHS cover-up and the immediate resignations of the DHS officials involved.

BREAKING NEWS: BP Agent Ramos Assaulted By Illegals In Prison!!
Border Patrol agent Ignacio Ramos was viciously assaulted in prison, where he is being held in general population! The assault occurred at 10:00pm Saturday night (Feb 3rd), apparently following the airing of America’s Most Wanted (see video clip below).
According to Ramos’ uncle:
“Nacho was assaulted Saturday night around 2200 by about five illegal immigrants. He has multiple and severe injuries. They put him in isolation for now, he has not been allowed to see a doctor since Saturday. They were yelling at him in Spanish, “Maten a la migra!” which means “Kill the Border Patrol agent.”
Another family member said Nacho was attacked after he fell asleep Saturday night. Assaulters went after him with repeated blows and kicks. Ramos suffered wounds to his back, shoulder, arms and head. There is concern that Agent Ramos was not given medical treatment after the incident and may not have received medical attention for up to 48 hours. An investigation is expected to be launched Tuesday.
This report has also been independently corroborated through Joe Loya, Ramos’ father-in-law.
If you’ve been following our comprehensive coverage of the Border Patrol case, then you know that three weeks ago, agents Compean and Ramos reported to federal prison, their petition to remain free on bond having been inexplicably denied. Several weeks ago, I wrote that I sincerely hoped and prayed that the agents were isolated from the criminal population, considering that almost 20% of our federal inmates are illegal aliens and hardened criminals. I was worried that the agents would be harmed or ever worse - killed. Not surprisingly, Ramos’ wife expressed those same fears. On Friday, February 2nd, a very worried Monica Ramos posted these concerns on her blog:
Many of you are wondering how my husband and Mr. Compean are doing on this their 16th day in prison. Each has been moved out of state. The news is not good. I have heard from my husband and since being moved, conditions are worse as he is in general population. I am not sure if Mr. Compean is in general population as well, but I am very concerned for their safety.
Right now he is not fully processed so he can’t make a phone call for about another two weeks. Thankfully, one counselor let him make one call to me and sent me the forms to organize a visitation as soon as possible. He didn’t sound very good to me. He told me that inmates keep approaching him asking who he is and what he’s in for. Most concerning to me is that most of these inmates are Spanish speaking with immigration issues and some are even in for drug possessions!
During our brief conversation, he just asked me to please do all I can to get him to a safer place. My husband is a very calm man, and I’m sure he downplayed his fears so as not to scare me, but for him to ask me to do something like that means something is wrong.
But I held onto the hope that usually law enforcement officers are isolated from a prison’s general population to protect them from retaliation. That hope was misplaced. Just one day later, Agent Ramos was assaulted and wounded while in prison!

You know those anti-war “peace” protesters that made quite a stench in Washington D.C. this past weekend? You know how they say they “support the troops”? Well, they encountered one of our favorite soldiers, Joshua Sparling, who was there, on crutches, to counter-protest. As you already know, Joshua Sparling was severely wounded in an IED attack and eventually lost his leg in November after a long fight to try and keep it. This is what happened when the peace protesters encountered our hero:
They laughed at and made fun of Joshua’s missing leg.
The called Joshua a babykiller.
They screamed that Joshua had blood on his hands, and they don’t know how he sleeps at night.
They spat at Joshua.
They flipped him off.
They said he should’ve stayed in Iraq - because he was just a murderer.
Joshua further said that many people were just screaming and trying to jump over the fence to bull rush him and the veterans he was with. Police had to stop the protesters from getting near the veterans. Several said they’d wait around until after the rally to “meet up” with the Joshua.
I’m so furious I can’t even type anymore.

Since we’ve only heard from one side, we can’t yet rule out the possibility (as occurred with a similar email) that Sgt. Hess may have received a response from someone who was not authorized to be corresponding with the business’ customers.
They’ve also changed the button from green (”True”) to yellow to indicate “a statement of undetermined or ambiguous veracity”.
However, if the company owner wished to clear his good company’s name, and blame some nameless, faceless non-authorized employee, wouldn’t he respond to the inquiries by Snopes?

Now there are some interesting coincidences about all these websites owned by Muslims who happen to all live in the Milwaukee area. The sports sites, one owned by Faisal and the other owned by Sajid are the exact same format and established the same month. They are nothing more than low-grade generic copy-and-paste sports information. The blogs were set up with a few token blog entries, with generic links (one even uses the sample Wordpress links that come with the blog), and then abandoned. Likewise, the Discount Mats and Discount Scooters sites share similar formatting and generic links.
So what’s the deal with these mostly fake websites? I’m just askin’…
If I lived in the Milwaukee area, I’d be doin’ more than askin’…I’d be driving by the addresses above to see what’s what with those locations.

As well, Faisal Khetani, 24, runs his business out of his home, where he lives with his parents, Ramzan and Amina Khetani (both aged 55). (Ramzan Khetani works for the State of Wisconsin in their engineering department for state facilities. Does that ring any alarms for anyone?) His parents have been sure to tell the media that they “support the troops.” But Khetani has not bothered to say anything like that. However, we’re meant to believe Khetani when he says he “fired” that “employee”. Whatever. Let’s not be naive: there was no employee. His so-called business (which I’m thinking is not legit) is run out of his home, for pete’s sake.

“It’s really getting out of control,” said Nasir, who described the messages as “angry and vulgar.”

Khetani claims that the person responsible for this ignorant affront to a US soldier was fired. In a recent communication with Miss. Kirkland, Khetani said “As I told my local reporters, the individual who made those statements has been held responsible and liable and what they spoke of apo addresses is absolutely true, but the second half was their own personal opinion and not the opinions of the company.”
Khetani also confirmed, though, that he and the members of his company are also against the efforts in Iraq which seems to contradict his first claim that the fired employee’s email didn’t represent the company.
I will say this, my company most certainly doesn’t support the war, and we do hope that the policies will change. However the personal opinions stated by the former member of Discount-Mats.com were very strong and personal and other members within our company certainly feel that his actions were not justified.
Let us hope that this man’s company finds a corresponding measure of “success” in equal levels with his support for the country to which he has immigrated in order to make his fortune.
In that same letter, Khetani also threatened Kirkland with unleashing the wrath of “major muslim organizations” on her for her “insults”. He closed by telling Kirkland, “you can be sure that there are million of muslim activists as well that will do something about your foul statements…. your statements against Muslims and your direct insults will not go unheard, I assure you.”
Threats, indeed. Bring it on, Muslim.

Faisal Khetani’s brother, Salman RamzanAli Khetani, is a Ph.D. with a B.S. in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from my alma mater, Marquette University, and a fellowship award honorable mention from the National Science Foundation. When you do a google search for Salman Khetani, you’ll find that Salman Khetani is quite knowledgable and involved in toxicity studies, engineered tissue, and disease studies. Might be nothing. At the very least, it’s… interesting.
Most of you are avidly watching 24, and are now well aware that 24’s Season Six scenario is centered around the detonation of suitcase nukes on American soil. Remember, this was the last chilling thing we saw on Monday night:
Just how improbable is 24’s plotline? Suitcase nukes in America? Well, it’s actually not that improbable. In fact, it is highly likely. In the 24 storyline, CTU is operating on intelligence that a suitcase nuke from an old Soviet cache has been missing for years. The reality is far more disturbing than fiction:
Previous reports cited two suitcase nukes already in the U.S. [Hamid] Mir says three and that bin Laden wants six. The Russians say al Qaeda actually has had 20 since 1998. And the former Russian National Security Advisor says that 100 of Russia’s known arsenal of 250 suitcase bombs are missing.
The above quote is from an article I wrote about suitcase nukes and terrorism last May, 2006. Considering the plot line for 24, I thought it would be an interesting read for those of you who missed it the first time around.
I have to give huge kudos to Shawn Christopher Phillips, of the Wry & Coy Report, for compiling some of the least known and most misreported facts surrounding the case of the two Border Patrol Agents prosecuted for shooting a drug smuggler. Shawn has raised some very troubling questions surrounding the case - questions worth asking and investigating. He has also connected the dots in a way that the media has been unable (or unwilling) to do.

I have supplemented the accounts with further information from my own research and from Pat Gray’s radio show on KSEV, since he and his co-host, Edd Hendee have been investigating the anomalies surrounding this very muddled case.
I have taken the liberty of condensing Shawn’s material from several posts to place it into a rough timeline of events as they occurred. As well, I wanted to include information about some of the major players in this case, from the drug smuggler himself all the way up to U.S. Congressmen and Senators.
The central perpetrator in this travesty of justice is the U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton, who has old boy Texas connections from the judge overseeing the case all the way up to President George W. Bush. These connections, though not openly disclosed, have greatly impacted the case, as highly placed government officials look the other way while testimonies, evidence, and statements are manipulated behind the scenes.

The incursion into U.S. territory last week by “Mexican gunmen” was not a chance confrontation between the Arizona National Guard and untrained illegal immigrants, but a deliberate “perimeter probe” by an infantry-trained, uniformed Mexican force, officials say.
Euphoric Reality has learned in exclusive interviews with high-ranking sources within both the Arizona National Guard and the U.S. Border Patrol that the incident the mainstream media calls a “standoff” was in reality a military-style operation, carried out by a unit of Mexican troops dressed in military uniforms, flak jackets, and armed with AK-47s in an apparent operation to probe the border defenses and test the limits of the National Guard troops. Using easily recognizable infantry movement tactics (such as arm and hand signals and flanking maneuvers), the Mexican unit deliberately moved in a military formation across the border from Mexico, where they were picked up by National Guard surveillance.
As the hostile force moved north over the next three hours, deeper into Arizona, National Guardsmen wearing night vision goggles were able to ascertain that the approaching gunmen were indeed uniformed (including PAGST helmets) and heavily armed. When the Mexican unit came within approximately 100 yards of the EIT site, the Guardsmen repositioned themselves in order to maintain surveillance and tactical advantage. They observed the Mexican unit sweep through the EIT site, and then rapidly withdraw back into Mexico. No shots were fired by either the Mexican gunmen or the Guardsmen. Border Patrol was on the scene within minutes of the Mexican unit’s withdrawal.
The Guardsmen, through an Arizona Border Patrol official, confirmed that the incident appeared to be an intelligence-gathering exercise designed to ascertain what the National Guard’s response would be to certain tactics. It is not an isolated incident, and many such probes have been reported by the Guardsmen assigned to the area. Though no shots were fired during this particular incident, shots have been fired near and in the vicinity of the soldiers at the EIT site in other situations, though not at the soldiers themselves. It is not clear from the uniforms if the Mexican soldiers were official Mexican federales or mercenaries hired by the drug cartels…

It’s Christmas and I hardly have the heart to write about another on-going war, courtesy of the Religion of Peace. But yes, they are at it again. This time, in two of the most pathetic countries on the planet: Ethiopia and Somalia. Could there be two more miserably poor, disease-ridden, down-trodden, sad nations on earth?!
I remember as a kid I used cry watching those documentaries on starving kids and babies in Ethiopia. And for only 39 cents a day, I could help feed one child and buy medicine. So there I was, at twelve and thirteen years old, baby-sitting for $1.50 per hour, sending my big bucks to Ethiopia. What a pathetically sad and nightmarish place.
Well, if there was any way to make those two nations any worse, the Muslims have found it, of course. The local jihad, bringing hell on earth to a neighborhood near you.
Somalia’s Ethiopia-backed forces and Islamic fighters have clashed near the seat of government in Baidoa for a second day with both sides claiming inflicting massive casualties.
A day after European Commission humanitarian chief Louis Michel said he had secured both sides’ commitment to observe a truce and resume peace talks, the Islamic movement chief called on Somalis to join the war against Ethiopian forces.
The government said Wednesday it had killed “hundreds” of rival fighters and wounded hundreds while the Islamists said they had killed at least 70 enemy combatants in the deadly assaults. None of the figures could be independently confirmed.

The leader of an infantry squad led his men through 150 patrols that uncovered weapons caches and roadside bombs, detained more than 50 suspected insurgents and led a counterattack when his squad was fatally ambushed. So his platoon leader, commending his confident and competent leadership, nominated the sergeant in January for a combat award. But then-Sgt. Frank D. Wuterich isn’t just another small-unit leader put up to receive the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with combat “V” for heroics in the Iraq war zone.
A “summary of action” noted his aggressive leadership through four months operating in Haditha and the nearby city of Hit that teemed with insurgent fighters. It describes the Nov. 19 incident during a mounted patrol as “a complex ambush that was initiated by an [improvised explosive device] and followed by automatic weapons fire.”
“The squad then came under automatic weapons fire from both sides of the road,” the summary states. “While under automatic weapons fire from two directions, Sergeant Wuterich aggressively directed his squad to provide security for the casualties in the kill zone by coordinating suppressive fires against the enemy. When the [quick reaction force] arrived, [he] ensured that the three casualties were safely evacuated and then led a counterattack against the enemy, south of the road.”
That is the man they want to crucify.

I’ve always been irritated with how the press and our military justice sytem treats Iraqi statements as the unquestioned truth. Particularly in charges brought against our troops, Iraqi testimony is treated as inviolable - and nothing could be further from the truth. It’s one of the most aggravating things I’ve seen come out of this war in Iraq: watching our troops’ lives and careers being ruined because of the lying machinations of Iraqis.
I’ve lived among Arabs in Israel, and my sister lived for several years in Saudi Arabia. We know this to be a FACT: lying is an accepted part of the Arab culture. Lying about anything - to be polite, to make a point, to amuse oneself, to save face, to gain an advantage, to cover wrongdoing, to collect blood money, to get revenge…and on and on. Lying is a fact of life in the Arab culture, and Westerners typically do not understand how prevalent it is. Ask anyone who has spent any amount of time in the Middle East, and they will confirm that lying is as much a part of Arab life as eating. In America, we’d call this a culture of corruption. In the Middle East, it’s their way of life.
Furthermore, lying for “the cause of Islam” or taquiyya, is a blessed religious duty. Iraqi sympathizers and insurgents see their deliberate lies to military investigators and media types as their own little jihad against the enemy. It’s not only sanctioned, it is commanded by the Koran.
I recently came across an excellent post at The Captain’s Journal. Read the entire post for very specific examples of how Iraqis submit false testimony in military trials for sometimes the most paltry reasons. The post quotes a civilian contractor living in Iraq and his experience with this cultural practice:
I’ve been in Iraq for about 18 months now performing construction management. It is simply not possible for me to exaggerate the massive amounts of lies we wade through every single day. There is no way - absolutely none - to determine facts from bulls*** ….
It is not even considered lying to them; it is more akin to being clever - like keeping your cards close to your chest. And they don’t just lie to westerners. They believe that appearances – saving face – are of paramount importance. They lie to each other all the time about anything in order to leverage others on a deal or manipulate an outcome of some sort or cover up some major or minor embarrassment. It’s just how they do things, period.
I’m not trying to disparage them here. I get along great with a lot of them. But even among those that I like, if something happens (on the job) I’ll get 50 wildly different stories, every time. There’s no comparison to it in any other part of the world where I’ve worked. The lying is ubiquitous and constant.
Now that the Haditha Marines are facing charges for what Sack-o-Shit Murtha called “a massacre”, this anomoly in Arab culture must be addressed and publicized. (More on the Haditha Marines later.) The limp-wristed mavens of political correctness will have a heart attack when I say this (which I always enjoy to the fullest) - but all cultures are not equal. And in this matter, the culture of corruption puts Iraq in the shitter when it comes to court testimony.
This is my considered opinion on it: there is simply no way Iraqi testimony should be accepted in courts martial at face value. Further investigation should be mandatory and no charges should ever be preferred against our troops based upon Iraqi statements alone. Iraqi testimony is virtually worthless, and must be corroborated by physical evidence. Taking an Iraqi’s word for it is not enough.

You - and they - are terribly, fundamentally wrong.
There are a few peaceful verses in the Koran, which were written by Mohammed when he was a social outcast desperately trying to gain acceptance in the upper social stratas of Mecca. He and his unemployed, ruffian followers were ejected from Mecca by the city elders (majority population of Mecca was then Jewish) when they would not refrain from radical proselytizing and raiding the surrounding countryside to support their lifestyle. Mohammed was nothing more than a mobster or gangleader in Mecca, and the Meccans would not tolerate the violence he wreaked on their people. Mohammed and his band of thieves and thugs slunk off to Medina, where he rapidly consolidated a base of power and added to his converts at the point of a sword.
Once Mohammed controlled Medina, he vengefully threatened Mecca to appease his earlier humiliation at their hands. The elders, fearful of the violence and destruction for which he was now well-known, signed a hudna - or 10 year peace with Mohammed. During that time, he reinforced and rearmed his troops, fortified Medina, and then betrayed the hudna by viciously attacking Mecca when they were least expecting it. He razed Mecca and slaughtered the citizens unless they converted. Most didn’t, so it was a massacre.
It was then, drunk on the success of his bloodiest campaigns, that he wrote the rest of the Koran. These later bloodthirsy, convert-or-die verses are the true root of Islam. In fact, as the Koran and Sira and Hadith make very clear, interpretation of the Koran is guided by the Doctrine of Abrogation. That means that the chronologically earlier verses of the Koran are abrogated - voided - by the verses written later. The verses written by Mohammed in Medina are commonly accepted by clerics and scholars as Islam in its full strength and glory. The True Islam.
Neo Alred and too many others labor under the deception that Islam is a peaceful religion because the West has been carefully fed a handful of “peaceful, let’s-all-get-along” verses as being representative of the tenets of Islam. Nothing could be further from the truth. That tactic - lying to gullible and tolerant Westerners - is taquiyya*. They have been duped.
Read the Koran, Sira, and Hadith for yourself - it’s the only way to understand. Your eyes won’t deceive you.
A cautionary note: The Koran is not ordered chronologically, it is compiled by size. The chapters and verses are ordered by the length of their prose - which is why it appears to be disordered and illogical. That is why understanding the Doctrine of Abrogation is so important.
None of Our revelations do cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things? - Surah 2:106
Even back in Mohammed’s day, he knew his later teachings were not consistent with his earlier revelations. Mohammed’s explanation? “They just don’t get it.”
When We substitute one revelation for another,- and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages),- they say, “Thou art but a forger”: but most of them understand not. - Surah 16:101
Such inconsistency does not concern Muslims because:
Allah doth blot out or confirm what He pleaseth: with Him is the Mother of the Book. - Surah 13:39
After all, since Muslims believe the Koran is from Allah, it cannot be considered faulty, though had it been written by anyone else but Mohammed, it would surely be highly so:
Do they not consider the Quran (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy. - Surah 4:82
Thus, belief in Islam requires a full suspension of critical thinking skills. The Doctrine of Abrogation, whereby previous tenets and revelations in the Koran are replaced with new and improved revelations casts doubt on the credibility of the current Arabic Koran’s claim that it is the perfect and final revelation of Allah.
I think this essay by Vanderleun is nothing short of brilliant, but unfortunately I disagree with his conclusion - that Islam must be reformed and assimilated or face nuclear annihilation. Reform cannot and will not ever happen. By definition, Islam cannot allow such. It would no longer be Islam, but something else entirely. And there are no half-measures within Islam.
There is nothing moderate about Islam. Those “westernized” Muslims today are actually living a very watered-down, nominal version of their faith - which is why moderate Muslims are considered apostate by True Muslims. (Which also explains why, when Muslims become more devout, they become more radical.) In fact, many modern Muslims today do not understand or ever know about the Doctrine of Abrogation - it is not disucussed. Surely you are aware that criticism and reform of Islam is not allowed within the religion itself, and is punishable by death.
Taquiyya: “The Islamic principle of lying for the sake of Allah. Falsehoods told to prevent denigration of Islam, to protect oneself, or to promote the cause of Islam are sanctioned by the Qur’an, including lying under penalty of perjury in testimony before the United States Congress, lying or making distorted statements to the media such as claiming that Islam is a religion of peace and deceiving fellow Muslims when the one lying has deemed them to be apostates.”
al-Taquiyya: “Concealing or disguising one’s beliefs, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions, and/or strategies…”
The Iraq Study Group has released its report, to great acclaim by the media and the Democrats (warning bells should be clanging for you right now). Laconic J minces no words and calls the report fatuous, juvenile, stultifying, and entirely damaging to U.S. interests. “In the interests of simplicity, consider just two shocking recommendations: seek assistance from a country that desires only our failure and destruction–Iran, and betray the lone free state in the Middle East, and our ally–Israel.”
I agree with that assessment, as the report is full of the childishly obvious: “the president and administration must remain in constant contact with the Iraqi government.” Hmmm…profound. Laconic J asks, “Has a bigger group of blowhards of limited talents–puffed up with self-importance–ever set pen to paper?” No, I think not.
So, what is the answer?

Do you consider the altruistic War in Iraq to be a theater of the absurd? Have you ever wondered what it would take to actually defeat the murderous ideology of Islamic Totalitarianism? TexasFred’s story below, about the troops using Silly String to detect bomb trip wires reminded me of this other very unique battlefield innovation I saw at Slublog’s. Via Marine Corps Moms:
He told me how wonderful the care packages were and wanted me to tell everyone thank you. He said that one guy we’ll call “Marine X” did get a girl care package and everyone was giving him a hard time. My son said, “Marine X got some really nice smelling lotion and everyone really likes it, so every time he goes to sleep they steal it from him.” I told my son I was really sorry about the mistake, and if he wanted I would send Marine X another package. He told me not to worry about Marine X because every time I send something to him Marine X thinks it’s for him too. He said when my husband and I sent the last care package Marine X came over to his cot picked up the box, started fishing through it, and said, “What’d we get this time?”
My son said they had the most fun with Marine X’s package. He said he wasn’t sure who we were sending the pack to, but the panties were size 20, and he said one of the guys got on top of the humvee and jumped off with the panties over his head and yelled, “Look at me, I’m an Airborne Ranger!!!!”. He said one of the guys attached the panties to an antenna and it blew in the wind like a windsock. He said it entertained them for quite awhile.
Then of course, they had the tampons. When he brought this up my imagination was just running wild, but I let him continue. My son said they had to go on a mission and Marine X wanted the chapstick and lotion for the trip. He grabbed a bunch of the items out of his care package and got in the humvee. As luck would have it he grabbed the tampons, and My son said everyone was teasing him about “not forgetting his feminine hygiene products”. My son said things were going well, and then the convoy was ambushed. He said a Marine in the convoy was shot. He said the wound was pretty clean, but it was deep. He said they were administering first aid but couldn’t get the bleeding to slow down, and someone said, “Hey use Marine X’s tampons”. My son said they put the tampon in the wound. At this point my son profoundly told me, “Mom did you know that tampons expand?” ) “Well, yeah!”. They successfully slowed the bleeding and got the guy medical attention. When they went to check on him later the surgeon told them, “You guys saved his life”. If you hadn’t stopped that bleeding he would have bled to death. My son said, “Mom, the tampons sent by the Marine Moms by mistake saved a Marines life.” At this point I asked him, “Well what did you do with the rest of the tampons?” He said, “Oh, we divided them up and we all have them in our flak jackets, and I kept two for our first aid kit”.
Talk about ingenuity!!

You’ve all heard about the six imams who were removed from the US Airways flight in Minneapolis. The media and the imams’ attorney have tried to make it look like the imams were brutally handcuffed, forced from the plane, and publicly humiliated for merely praying in public. This is not so - and is a flat out lie. The truth is much more disturbing. The media will not give you this information, so Pajamas Media deserves a huge hat tip for getting the following info out to the public. This article at PJM is a must-read. There you can access the full police report of the incident and a passenger’s letter to US Air stating her perspective on the incident. Here are the highlights:
Sitting in Minneapolis-St. Paul’s Airport Gate C9, she noticed one of the imams immediately. “He was pacing nervously, talking in Arabic,” she said.
She quickly noticed the others. “They didn’t look like holy men to me. They looked like guys heading out of town for a Vikings game.”

As the plane boarded, she said, no one refused to fly. The public prayers and Arabic phone call did not trigger any alarms - so much for the p.c. allegations that people were disturbed by Muslim prayers.But a note from a passenger about suspicious movements of the imams got the crew’s attention. A copy of the passenger’s note appears in the police report.
To Pauline everything seemed normal. Then the captain - in classic laconic pilot-style - announced there had been a “mix up in our paperwork” and that the flight would be delayed. In reality, the air crew was waiting for the FBI and local police to arrive.
Ninety minutes after the flight’s scheduled 5:15 p.m. departure, the captain announced yet another delay. Still, Pauline said, there was no sense of alarm. Still, it seemed like just another annoying development, typical when flying the friendly skies.
The situation in cockpit was far more intense, according to a U.S. Airways spokeswoman and police reports.
Contrary to press accounts that a single note from a passenger triggered the imams’ removal, Captain John Howard Wood was weighing multiple factors - factors that have largely been ignored by the press.
Another passenger, not the note writer, was an Arabic speaker sitting near two of the imams in the plane’s tail. That passenger pulled a flight attendant aside, and in a whisper, translated what the men were saying. They were invoking “bin Laden” and condemning America for “killing Saddam,” according to police reports.
Meanwhile an imam seated in first class asked for a seat-belt extension, even though according to both an on-duty flight attendant and another deadheading flight attendant, he looked too thin to need one. Hours later, when the passengers were being evacuated, the seat-belt extension was found on the floor near the imam’s seat, police reports confirm. The U.S. Airways spokeswoman Andrea Rader said she did not dispute the report, but said the airline’s internal investigation cannot yet account for the seat-belt extension request or its subsequent use. A seat-belt extension can easily be used as a weapon, by wrapping the open-end of the belt around your fist and swinging the heavy metal buckle.
Still, it seemed like just another annoying development, typical when flying the friendly skies. Days after the incident, the imam would claim that the steward helped him attach the device. Pauline said he is lying. Hours later, when the police was being evacuated, the steward asked Pauline to hand him the seat-belt extension, which the imam did not attach, but placed on the floor. “I know he is lying,” Pauline said, “I had it [seat belt extension] in my hand.”
A passenger in the third row of first class, Pauline said, told a member of the crew: “I don’t have a good feeling about this guy,” about the imam who wanted the seat-belt extension.
A married couple one row behind first-class, tried to strike up a conversation with the imam seated near them. He refused to talk or even look at the woman in the eye, according to Pauline. Instead, he stood up and moved to join the other imams in the back of the plane. Why would he leave the luxury end of the aircraft? Pauline wondered. The account of the married couple does not appear in the police report.
Finally, a gate attendant told the captain she thought the imams were acting suspiciously, according to police reports.
So the captain apparently made his decision to delay the flight based on many complaints, not one. And he consulted a federal air marshal, a U.S. Airways ground security coordinator and the airline’s security office in Phoenix. All thought the imams were acting suspiciously, Rader told me.
Other factors were also considered: All six imams had boarded together, with the first-class passengers - even though only one of them had a first-class ticket. Three had one-way tickets. Between the six men, only one had checked a bag.
And, Pauline said, they spread out just like the 9-11 hijackers. Two sat in first, two in the middle, and two back in the economy section. Pauline’s account is confirmed by the police report. The airline spokeswoman added that some seemed to be sitting in seats not assigned to them.
One thing that no one seemed to consider at the time, perhaps due to lack of familiarity with Islamic practice, is that the men prayed both at the gate and on the plane. Observant Muslims pray only once at sundown, not twice.
“It was almost as if they were intentionally trying to get kicked off the flight,” Pauline said.
A lone plain clothes FBI agent boarded the plane and briefly spoke to the imams. Later, uniformed police escorted them off. Some press reports said the men were led off in handcuffs, which Pauline disputes. “I saw them. They were not handcuffed.” Later, each imam was individually brought back on the aircraft to reclaim his belongings. They were still not handcuffed. They may have been handcuffed later. At this point, the passengers became alarmed. “How do we know they got all their stuff off?” Pauline heard one man ask.
While the imams were soon released, Pauline is fuming: “We are the victims of these people. They need to be more sensitive to us. They were totally insensitive to us and then accused us of being insensitive to them. I mean, we were a lot more inconvenienced than them.”
The plane was delayed for some three and one-half hours.
Bomb-sniffing dogs were used to sweep the plane and every passenger was re-screened, the airline spokeswoman confirmed. Another detail omitted from press reports.
The reaction of the remaining passengers has also gone unreported. “We applauded and cheered for the crew,” she said. “I think it was either a foiled attempt to take over the plane or it was a publicity stunt to accuse us of being insensitive,” Pauline said. “It had to be to intimidate U.S. Airways to ease up on security.” So far, U.S. Airways refuses to be intimidated, even though the feds have launched an investigation. “We are absolutely backing this crew,” Rader said.
Tucked away in the police report is this little gem: one of the imams had complained to a passenger that some nations did not follow sharia law and his job in Bakersfield, Calif. was a cover for “representing Muslims here in the U.S.”
So what are the imams really up to? Something more than praying it seems.
I predicted it, and the imams have not disappointed: a total sham a lawsuit is in the works. As the imams and their attorneys work up their false outrage and prepare a huge lawsuit for religious discrimination, the American people need to be aware of the tricks the imams are playing. I believe the six imams fully instigated this incident with ulterior motives: to intimidate airlines AND passengers into not reporting or acting upon suspicious behavior; and to potentially profit from abusing our legal system by filing a fraudulent lawsuit. The six imams are liars and frauds and possibly much worse - radical clerics intent on helping to bring about the death of innocent Americans, either by fomenting hatred among their followers, or more actively probing our airline security in a dry run. The American people need to push back against this blatant fraud. It’s our safety at risk.
At this point, I’d like to note that there is one thread of commonality I saw in the various accounts of the witnesses above. They all reacted to something that their intuition told them was “not right”. It’s obvious that there was no hysteria or panic. They simply started putting disparate pieces of information together. Some of them relied upon their intuition; others had concrete reasons for alarm. That brings me to some recommended reading for you. I learned so much about the survival mechanism of intuition from the book, The Gift of Fear: And Other Survival Signals That Protect Us from Violence, by Gavin deBecker. Please consider picking this book up. It’s an excellent read, and has given me the utmost confidence in my own gut instincts.
At a time when the media and special interest groups are screaming about the peripheral issues of “racial profiling” and “religious discrimination”, and we are ceaselessly shamed into ignoring clear signals of danger, I think it’s crucial that we recognize the power of our own intuition. From The Gift of Fear:
Can you imagine an animal reacting to the gift of fear the way some people do, with annoyance and disdain instead of attention? No animal in the wild, suddenly overcome with fear, would spend any of it’s mental energy thinking: “It’s probably nothing.” Yet we chide ourselves for even momentarily giving validity to the feeling that someone’s unusual behavior might be sinister. Instead of being grateful to have a powerful internal resource, grateful for the self-care, instead of entertaining the possibility that our minds might actually be working for us and not just playing tricks on us, we rush to ridicule the impulse. We, in contrast to every creature in nature, choose not to explore - end even to ignore - survival signals. The mental energy we use searching for the innocent explanation to everything could more constructively be applied to evaluating the environment for important information.
It is my opinion that the passengers and crew on the US Airways Flight 300, heeding their intuition that something was clearly wrong, wisely chose to evaluate their environment for a further threat. This is exactly what American citizens need to do. We should not be browbeaten into silence and inaction just because some Muslims with ulterior motives pretend to be offended. Like the brave passengers on United Flight 93, we cannot rely upon the government to be there for our safety and security. We need to be responsible for it ourselves - just like the passengers on US Airways Flight 300. They have provided the example that each and every one of us needs to follow.
Those imams knew exactly what they were doing. We should too. Get that book.

Illegals Deadlier Than War On Terror

This past Thanksgiving evening, a United States Marine who was home from Iraq was driving with his date, when another car smashed into theirs and killed them both. The other driver, who was not even injured, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
On the early broadcast news in Washington, DC this morning (Thursday, November 30th), some stations carried the report of this incident, and described the drunk driver as an “illegal immigrant.” By the time the 7 AM news came on, that version of the story had been quashed.
The main-stream media versions of the story do not mention the illegal status of the accused driver:
Driver Accused Of DUI In Crash That Killed Marine Home For Thanksgiving
COLUMBIA, Md. - A local Marine was killed Thanksgiving night in a crash caused by an alleged drunk driver. Brian Matthews, 21, of Columbia, Md., was driving with a date, 24-year-old Jennifer Bower of Montgomery Village, in his car on Thanksgiving night.
A driver hit them in Columbia, killing them both.
Matthews had served in Iraq and was home for Thanksgiving.
Matthews’ mother says her son had just signed up to be an organ donor and his organs helped save six other people.
Eduardo Soriano, 25, the driver of the other vehicle, was charged with driving under the influence.
This additional information comes from a news channel in Baltimore:
Matthews had served in Ramadi, Iraq, as part of the Fox Company 2nd Battalion 5th Marine Regiment.
One of his family members said he was the kind of person who would do whatever he could to help others.
Matthews, who recently trained in the Pacific Ocean, had just celebrated Thanksgiving with his family when he and Bower went out on a date….
Police said the driver of the other car, 25-year-old Eduardo Soriano, failed to stop at a traffic signal and hit Matthews’ car.
Soriano wasn’t injured but was charged with driving under the influence. Court documents showed he had a blood-alcohol level of .32. The legal limit is .08.
Soriano is also charged with two counts of manslaughter while intoxicated and homicide by motor vehicle.
Matthews graduated from Howard High School in 2003. He was an Eagle Scout.

That’s more than nine thousand people killed every year in the United States by illegal aliens.
By contrast, consider the death toll for US servicemen in Iraq and Afghanistan since the beginning of the war on terror, as reported last week by the Department of Defense:

So illegal aliens in the United States are more than fourteen times as lethal (14.48 actually) as a full scale armed conflict.

Our mainstream media outlets are strangely silent about this. Do we hear them constantly beating a drum about THIS civil war? No. Their selective reporting amounts to blatant prevarication.

Stay tuned, there’s a genius and very funny scheme below, but first…a little background info to set the stage:
There are currently about 6-7 million Muslims - that we know of - living in the U.S. In 2005, 96,000 Muslims became permanent legal residents in the U.S., more than ever before, as happily reported by the NY Times. These official counts do not include, of course, the hundreds of thousands that are illegally crossing over our borders. And as I just reported yesterday, we now know that Homeland Security released almost 100,000 potentially dangerous Muslims from terror-sponsoring countries back into our population over the past four years.
It used to be that “store-front” mosques served ex-pat Muslims living in foreign nations. However, that has changed drastically since the 1970’s, when Saudis began approaching mosques in Western nations and informing them that it wasn’t “proper for the glory of Islam” to worship in such small mosques. They offered to finance the building of much more suitable and glorious mosques. Unfortunately, along with the $80 billion the Saudis have invested in building mosques in foreign nations, they indoctrinated the new mosques by sending along their own Wahhabist imams. This has resulted in the radicalization of about 80% of the mosques in America, and almost 95% of the mosques in Europe:
The power of the extremist Wahhabi form of Islam in the United States was created with generous Saudi financing of American Muslim communities over the past few decades. Over 80 percent of the mosques in the United States “have been radicalized by Saudi money and influence,” Barsky said.

“These [immigrants] were not interested in this [Wahhabi] ideology, and suddenly they have a Saudi imam coming in and telling them they’re not praying properly and not practicing Shari’a [Islamic law] properly.” This Saudi strategy was being carried out “all over the world, from America to Bangladesh,” with the Saudis investing $70-80 billion in the endeavor over three decades.Barsky, who heads the AJC’s Division on Middle East and International Terrorism and is the executive editor of Counterterrorism Watch, said this means that “the people now in control of teaching religion [to American Muslims] are extremists. Who teaches the mainstream moderate non-Saudi Islam that people used to have? It’s in the homes, but there’s no infrastructure. Eighty percent of the infrastructure is controlled by these extremists.”
Former Shi’ite Muslim, Reza Safa, the author of Inside Islam: Exposing and Reaching the World of Islam, concurs with the above report. Of the more than 1,200 mosques in America, more than 80 percent have been built within the last 20 years - thanks in large part to Saudi money. “Saudi Arabia alone has spent $87 billion since 1973 to spread Islam throughout the United States and the Western hemisphere,” Safa says.
Today, to serve the faithful of the exploding Muslim population - forgive the pun - there is a building boom going on (oops, another pun). Mosques are springing up in neighborhoods across the country, and established mosques are expanding, sometimes by 100%. There are twice as many mosques today as there were a mere 11 years ago. This is a concern in many communities, especially those that are fully aware of the Saudi money that finances much of the construction and the resultant radicalization.
While Bostonians engage in discourse about their very real concerns over a massive mosque project in their community, Texans have taken a wholly different tack on this issue. Apparently, certain citizens in Katy are resistant to the planned construction of a large mosque on Baker Road. As Pat Gray reported, this is a very exclusive neighborhood - very. And the locals no not want a mosque in their midst. They have made their complaints known - citing traffic and drainage and the unknown (remember, statistically speaking, there is a very good chance the mosque could be radicalized) - to no avail. They’ve even tried buying back the land for more than a million dollars. The Katy Islamic Association says nope - “they’re not going anywhere.”
Even worse, one of the most prominent neighbors, Craig Baker - a man whose family history in the area goes way back, and for whom the street is named after - has been encouraged by his new Muslim neighbors to leave the area. Baker owns the family land that adjoins the proposed mosque site, and refuses to consider packing up his family and business to please them. Thus, he has hit upon an idea that he believes will send the message that he ain’t leavin’!
Pure brilliance!
Baker owns pigs and plans to race them on his property line. Only in Texas, eh? Of course, the Muslims are appalled (one step down from the usual “outraged”), and consider the pig races - on their holy Friday night, no less - to be a “slap in the face.” Ohhhh, too bad, so sad. Baker’s property is still his property - and he can do what he pleases on it.
