The bad news: Until then, you’re going to get stuff like this from me.
This is from my Tuesday post at Basil’s Blog, where I comment on a post from Pros & Cons.

PAS podcast #1
Kender is still working on get the listen live sever installed at Wide Awakes Radio. For now I decided to record The Passionate America Show as a podcast.
This is the first episode of The Passionate America Show. I invited my brother Big Mike to join me in what I like to refer to as the studio to co-host with me this week. We were a little nervous at first, not having any idea what we were doing and what we should talk about, so we just started talking and recorded our entire conversation. Once we started recording we quickly got into the groove of things and ended up with an hour and 30 minutes of our stupidity. I know it is a long podcast, but we had so much fun recording it that I had a hard time leaving any of the conversation on the cutting room floor. I hope you enjoy The Passionate America Show podcast episode #1. We sure did.
This is just the begining. We just keep getting better.

It’s a little under ten minutes long and I ramble through most of it, but it’s something. Wide Awakes Radio may not be streaming live YET but we won’t be silenced. This little podcast is the first of several I intend to do (the next being more focused and longer) if Wide Awakes Radio doesn’t hit the airwaves soon. We’re at the will of the internet, so to speak, so I’m sorry we can’t give you a little more professional time frame. If we DO get up soon however, listen to the Real War Room tomorrow night from 6-8 PM Central Time (7-9 PM Eastern). Here is THE SHOW BRIEFING for tomorrow if I do indeed get on. Anyways, here’s my little incursion into podcasting (I do have a little bit of a cold):
Yep, we’re takin’ over since we’re running into technical difficulties. Shouldn’t stand in anyone’s way to listen to our shows, though. Basil did 15 minutes, I did more like 25 with a couple of minutes of 80’s music in there, hehehe.
Podcast Production Services‘ music is featured on my show here, and it’s thumping rocking 80’s music, as he pointed out. He asked me what I wanted, I sent him samples, and he categorized it as such, which made me feel ANCIENT. But…such is life, and the truth! And I bring you that perspective today…Moral People Need to Learn How to Hate (Rabbi Boteach)...arab brownshirts, saddam’s connection to nazis (his uncle), hatred of evil is just; leftists favor ‘equality’ over hatred of evil (Dennis Prager), Hitler was a Socialist, the biblical justification of self defense versus pacifism, and lastly, ‘little Mr. Apricot’ and a little ad for the TD and Cao Show on Sundays from 4-6. My regular shows are supposed to be Tuesdays from 5-7 CST, Wednesdays, Fridays 4-6, and Sundays with Terry Dillard. Hope you get a chance to listen some day when we’re back on the air.
I have interviews with Amy Proctor and her husband who’s a chaplain’s assistant. Those two interviews are pre-recorded and I can’t wait to play them on my show…! They have an interesting perspective on Iraq!
Enjoy!
With the new server installation finishing and the final bugs being worked out for relaunch, it has been suggested that we do podcasts.
Yeah, I know. What the hell were they thinking.
Anyway, they asked for 30 minutes. But honestly, you couldn’t put up with me for 30 minutes. Ask anyone.
So, here’s 15 minutes of quality entertainment, a guaranteed nominee for the Paul Harvey Award of Excellence, here’s 15 minutes of Basil on Wide Awakes Radio.
